For managing your website’s emails on Windows for free, the best software is Thunderbird. Follow our tutorial to learn how to use it.
If you want to view and manage the emails of the site that has been placed on a dedicated domain, there are various software programs available.
One of the best software programs for sending and receiving site emails is Thunderbird, which is free and powerful at the same time.
Through this tutorial, you can easily manage your site emails on Windows using the free and powerful Thunderbird software.
To install the Thunderbird software, you must first download it. Therefore, enter the download section of the Thunderbird website.
As shown in the image below, after downloading, click on the installation file

If you set the installation to Standard, the software will automatically install it in the C drive and the Programs folder. If you want to place it in a specific section, you can choose Custom.

In this section, select the location where you want to install the program and click on the Next button.

In this section, you can specify the components of the program. These settings have already been configured, so do not change anything and move to the next section.
Finally, click Next until you reach the Install button, install the program, and after that click Finish.

After you have installed the program, run it and click on the email section as shown in the image below
In this section, in the Full name field enter the name of the email, and in the Email address field enter your desired email as shown in the image below.

In this step, you need to apply the Incoming server settings.
Protocol: Set it to IMAP. If you want a copy of the received data from each email to also be kept on the server, select IMAP. But if you want the email to be received directly and not stored on the server, select SMTP. (Our suggestion is to use the IMAP protocol)
Hostname: The address of your email server.
Connection security: If you use an SSL security certificate for email on the host or server, set this option to SSL/TLS so that sending and receiving emails is done with high security. (If you are using Itroz hosting, set it to SSL/TLS.)
Port: By selecting the above option, this section will be selected automatically and there is no need to enter a number.
Username: It is the same as your email address.
Authentication method: In this section, there are various models for authentication, which are usually set to Password as shown.
After configuring all the above items, click the Continue button.

The above settings are for receiving emails, and in this section, we want to configure the settings for sending the site’s emails.
Protocol: The protocol is set to SMTP.
Hostname: It is exactly the same hostname that you entered in the previous step. Enter it again in this section.
Connection security: Enter the information in this section exactly like the previous step.
Port: By selecting the connection security option, the port is automatically entered.
Username: It is the same as your email address.
Authentication method: In this section, there are various models for authentication, which are usually set to Password as shown.
After entering all the sections, you need to test it, so click the Test button and then click Continue to move to the next step.

As clearly shown in the image below, in this section you need to enter the password of the desired email.
If you do not check the Remember password box, the software will ask you for the email password each time it connects.
To avoid this, you can check the box, and finally click Continue.

If you passed this section successfully, it means the email has been successfully installed on the Thunderbird software. If you look at the main page of the software as shown in the image below, your email has been added to the left-side list, and from this section, you can receive and send emails.

If you have successfully completed all the steps from the above tutorials, you have successfully installed your site email on Windows.
